Funeral services for Yvonne Faircloth Newsome, 83 of Vada who passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Calhoun County Nursing Home in Edison will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 at New home Baptist Church at 11:00AM. The Rev. Craig Foister will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Born march 12, 1935 in Mitchell County she was the daughter of the late Raymond Faircloth and Emma Williams Faircloth. She was married to Hilton Lee Newsome who preceded her in death. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Gassett (Terry) of Meigs and Denise Sealy (Whit) of Meigs; a son, Don Newsome (Vicki) of Vada; grandchildren, Caleb Sealy, Chase Gassett, Christopher Newsome, Donna Foister, and seven Great Grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Elaine Kirkland (Richard) of Ocala, Fl; brother, Gordon Faircloth (Glenda) of Climax and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Kenneth Newsome, sisters, Doris Harrell, Imogene Faircloth Taylor, Geneva Cumbie, Luville Glover, brothers, James Robert Faricloth, Bobby Faircloth and Sunshine Faircloth.
