Woodrow Wisham

Funeral Services for Woodrow Wisham, 82, of Camilla will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Craig Foister will officiate and interment will be in Fathers Home Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Andrew Billy Weeks, Cedric Shiver, Gunner Wisham, Andrew Foister, Grant Wisham, Melvin Hooks and Kelvin Hooks.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Wisham, Bruce Henley, Johnny Edwards, Kent Wisham, Franky Wisham, Marvin Hooks and Marty Hooks. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00AM on Saturday at the funeral home.  Born November 8, 1939, he was the son of the late John Edgar Sr. and Effie Crosby Wisham.  Mr. Wisham passed away on July 26, 2022 at his residence.  He was a self-employed drywall worker who in his past years has enjoyed his retirement.  Mr. Wisham is survived by his son Billy Andrew Weeks of Pelham, sisters Christine Edwards and Louise West of Camilla, Pauline Harrell of Pelham and one brother Paul Wisham of Camilla.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Charlotte Wisham and his siblings, John E. Wisham, Jr., Willie Mae Hendley and Bernice Hooks Blewett. For anyone wishing to make food for the family, they will be meeting following the service at Fathers Home Church.
