Funeral services for Willie Belle West Britt, 93, of Thomasville will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Allen will officiate and interment will be in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bass, Kelly Bass, Dana Roland, Mike Mash, Randy Stewart, Jr., and Brandon Ryan. Born September 13, 1921 in Hartsfield she was the daughter of the late James William West and Eddie Belle Autry. She was retired from Southwestern State Hospital. She was married to Franklin Fenney Bass who preceded her in death. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Thomasville. Survivors include a son Franklin Bass, a daughter, Pawnee Roland (Gene), Brothers, Lawrence Edward West, Rupert C. West (Faye), and Shelby Melba West (Betty), and a sister, Chloe Nicolini, Grandchildren, Kenneth Bass (Barbara), Angela Rash, Cindy Woodard, Kelly bass, Vicki Bass, Debra Mash(Mike), Terri Stewart(Randy, Jr.) Dana Roland (Kristy); 18 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey West Jones and a brother, James Hugh West. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
