William Ray Osborn, 75, of Cairo, passed away at home on Friday, February 16, 2024. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald Willis will officiate with interment at Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Powell, Jordan Phillips, Logan McMurphy, Brandon Osborn, Brian Thomas and Matthew Osborn. Honorary pallbearers are Coby Brown Jr. and Zackery Brown. Born April 11,1948 in Anniston, Alabama, he was the son of the late Gordon Lee, Sr., and Loretta Bundy Osborn. Mr. Osborn is a member of Meigs Assembly of God and retired from Southern Concrete Construction Company as a Foreman building bridges. He is survived by his sons, Rex Osborn (Sherry), Eddie Osborn (Steven Tatch), daughters Rachel Young (George) and Susan Ausburn (Dewayne), grandchildren Nicholas Osborn, Brandon Osborn, Matthew Osborn, Courtney Schofield, Sissy Godwin, Alissa Brown, Alex Powell, Jordan Phillips, Katelyn Thomas, and Logan McMurphy, great-grandchildren Jada Brown, Coby Brown, Zackery Brown, Maddalynn Powell, Abel Dean Howell, Ashton Osborn, Adayne Osborn, Landon Duke, Presley Osborn, Ridge Bailey, Wyatt Osborn, Anthony Osborn, Virgil Osborn, Paisley Osborn, and Sabrinah Chalke. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kathleen D. Osborn, son Ray Anthony Osborn, brother Gordon Lee Osborn, Jr., sisters Mary Barrett and Margie Osborn. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.
