William Irvin Horne

Funeral services for William Irvin Horne, 80 of Pelham will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. Born February 18, 1937 in Grady County he was the son of the late Willie Waymon Horne and Bernice Evelyne Hutto Horne.  Mr. Horne passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Mitchell County Hospital.  Mr. Horne was a self-employed Cardiographer, a member of Branchville United Methodist Church, Methodist Mens Club, Pelham Masonic Lodge, Camilla Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He was married to Ruby Stewart Horne of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include his children Billy Horne, Allen Horne (Angela), Kelly Horne (Pam) and Krys Snipes (Ken), grandchildren, Madison Horne, Sarah Horne, Brandon Horne, Amanda Horne Corcoran, Wil Snipes, Grace Snipes, and Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nathan and Aubrey Corcoran and a sister Dorothy Curles (Bo). He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jimmy Horne.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Branchville United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
