William (Billy) Horne

Funeral services for William Irvin Horne, Jr. (Billy), 60, of Pelham will be Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Les Pollock and Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate and interment will be in Mt Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wil Snipes, Cameron Kelentic, Bo Kelentic , Mark Harris, Tripp Bennett, Lee Stewart and Phillip Hazen. Born November 1, 1960 in Pelham he was the son of the late William Irvin, Sr and Ruby Stewart Horne. Mr. Horne passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.  He made his home in Atlanta for many years, where he worked as a carpenter, later in life, he returned to Pelham and worked for Darling Ingredients in Thomasville. He was a member of Branchville United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of the class of 1978 at Pelham High School, Avid fisherman, hunter and trained bird dogs. He enjoyed all types of music, especially playing the saxophone, he was also and avid Florida State Fan. Survivors include his son, Brandon Horne (Holly) of Statham, GA ; daughter, Amanda Corcoran (Bobby) of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nathan and Aubrey Corcoran; brothers, Allen Horne (Angela); Kelly Horne (Pam) and sister Krys Snipes (Ken); nieces and nephews, Madison Horne, Sarah Evans (Kip), Wil Snipes and Grace Snipes and a great niece, Evelyn Jane Evans.
