William ( Billy) Daughtry

William (Billy) Daughtry 74, of Meigs passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at his residence.  The family will have visitation services for Mr. Daughtry on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  He was born in Pelham, on November 6, 1946, to the late William Paul Daughtry, Sr. and Mildred King.  Mr. Daughtry was a timber buyer for Balfour Timber Company. He was married to Sandra Barfield Daughtry, who survives, for fifty years.  Other survivors include his son, Joshua Paul Daughtry (Ashley); his daughter, Nikki Smith (Larry); grandchildren Kaylan Smith, Noah Smith, Aleah Daughtry and Harper Daughtry .  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Roger Daughtry.
