Wendell Fredrick Cooper

Graveside services for Wendell Fredrick Cooper, 74, of Pelham, will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.  Rev. Matt Peek will officiate.  Mr. Cooper passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Born March 24, 1944 he was the son of the late Theodore R. Cooper and Lillian Brock Smith. Mr. Cooper retired as a Mill Supervisor from Oil Dry.  He was a member of Pelham First Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife Beverly Cooper of Pelham; daughter Krista McPherson (Jim) of Tifton; son Windell Cooper (Natasha) of Albaster, AL; step-daughters Penny Ruff of Pelham and Robin Henson of Worcester, NY; grandchildren Alan, Chason, Brock, Joseph, Elijah, Lylah, Andrew, Brent, Hayden, Leslie, and Alicia, several great grandchildren; sisters Glenda Rich and Judy Conley both of Pelham and a brother James Cooper of Okawaha, FL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Duff Smith, a sister Eunice Courtney and a brother Theron Cooper.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 12 noon to 2 PM, prior to the service at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.  Friends may sign the online guest register at www.willisjamersonbraswell.com Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham.
