Funeral services for Wanda Jean Poitevient Duncan, 59, of Pelham will be Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Tommy McDonald will officiate and interment will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. She was a homemaker and member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Joseph Newsome, Gary Stolze, Danny Wayne Carr, Jerome Carr, Justin Merchant and Michael Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phil Carr, Terry Barber, Dean Blackburn, Winfred Pollock, Charles Humphries, Stan Hurst, Earl Cone and TJ Godbee. Born May 17, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Horace Gene Poitevient and Vergie Mae Williamson Poitevient who survives of Bainbridge. Mrs. Duncan passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her daughters residence in Sylvester. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Duncan of Pelham; a daughter, Angel Fambro Webb (BJ) of Sylvester; stepson, Joshua Duncan, stepdaughter, Ashley Duncan both of Cullman, AL; granddaughter, Danielle Bradshaw of Sylvester; two grandsons, Logan Webb and Justin Webb both of Sylvester; a step grandson, Jordan Duncan of Cullman, AL; sister, Rhonda Schiffner (Jim) of Bainbridge; a nephew and great nephew, Joseph Newsome and Kelan Newsome and Kristy Newsome all of Brinson; an aunt, Ernestdean Carr of Camilla and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, and grandparents, Oscar and Mamie Harvey Poitevient and William Harrison Williamson and Georgia Alice Williamson. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
