Funeral services for Vivian Elaine Joiner, 91, of Hawkinsville, formerly of Pelham, will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home with interment in Meigs Sunset Cemetery in Meigs, GA. Mrs. Joiner passed away on September 9, 2015. Rev. Andy Frazier will officiate. Born January 26, 1924 in Meigs, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late E. J. Carter and Mary Olive Wilkes. Mrs. Joiner was a bookkeeper and owner of Joiner Auto Parts in Apopka, FL. She is survived by her son Fred V. (Charlotte) Joiner, Jr. of Hawkinsville, daughter Mary Elaine (Steve) Ferguson of Apopka, FL, grandchildren Julie (Tony) Sapp of Centerville, GA, Mary Jane Joiner of Centerville, GA, Fred V. "Tripp" (Cathy) Joiner III of Hawkinsville, GA, Laura (Shannon) Crabb of Royston, GA. 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by her husbands Fred V. Joiner, Sr. and Hal Singletary, parents E. J. Carter and Olive Wilkes, and sisters Olivia Carter and Evelyn Carter.
