Funeral services for Virginia Sprose Smith, 81, of Miami Springs, Fl will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00AM at Trinity Primitive Baptist Church in Whigham. Greg Hester will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be David McClelland, Mathew Price, Adam Samir, Ayman Samir, Luke McClelland, Nick Craig, Adam Hutchinson, Tyson Craig and Joel Gandy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deryck Perkins, Sammy Perkins and Bobby Perkins. She was a retired Nurse and member of First Baptist Church in Cairo. Born June 23, 1943 in Atlanta she was the daughter of the late Thomas Harold and Martha Elizabeth Perkins Sprose. She is survived by children, Suzanne McClelland Page (Michael) of Cairo, Cheryl McClelland Samir (Sami) of Miami and a son David Roger McClelland of Cairo; grandchildren, Mathew Paul Price; Catherine Rebecca Renaue (Nick); Saralyn Hutchison (Adam); Adam Youssef Samir; Ayman Mehdi Samir; Kayden Luke McClelland; Kelli Page; Hunter Page; Jaylynn Page: and great grandchildren, Anleigh Dixon, Adalyn Renaue, Isabelle Hutchison, Tyson Craig and Allie Craig and a brother, Robert (Bob) O'Riley and two nieces, Stephanie Reynolds and Melissa Boney. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Thomas (Jacky) Jackson Sprose. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday an hour prior to the service.
