Memorial services for Virginia A. Frosteg, 91, of Pelham will be held Sunday, May l7, 2015 at 1:00PM at Hand Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Carrie Myers will officiate. Mrs. Frosteg passed away May 4, 2015 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born May 13, 1923 in Sale City, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Warner Jackson Akridge and Minnie Lee Cook Akridge. She was married to the late Haskell "Giggy" Frosteg. Mrs. Frosteg was a homemaker and a member of Hand Memorial United Methodist Church in Pelham. She is survived by her Brother: Mack B. Akridge and wife Marion of Florence, SC; Daughter: Patricia Mooney and husband Bill of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Grandchildren: Jennifer Weir and husband Robbie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Brooke Holzer of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Great-Grandchildren: Kirsten and Cody Weir of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; And many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death her sister: Martha Bryant of Decatur, GA; and her brother: Milton Akridge of Albany, GA.
