Funeral services for Thomas William Taylor (Tommy). 86, of Cairo will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. David Pickering will officiate and a private family interment will be held at Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shay Walden, Mike Taylor, Steven Taylor, Jody Harvey, Ricky White and Logan Godwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Edsel Palmer and Mike Ferros. Born February 13,1938 in Grady County he was the son of the late Harry Grady and Eula Clyde Touchton Taylor. Mr. Taylor passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at his residence. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include children, Kay Lynn Phelps (Allen) of Climax; Tammy Jean Williamson of Putney; Thomas Darrell Taylor (Julie) of Cairo; Thomas Ferris Taylor (Lauren) of Cairo; grandchildren, Shay Walden, Christie Mashburn, Daniel Folsom, Madison Whiddon, Georgia Taylor, Thomas Garrett Taylor, Thomas Rhett Taylor, great grandchildren, Skye Carbaugh, Kaylee Williams, Brayden Rodgers, J.J.Odell, Lyla Whiddon, Anna Walden and Drew Walden, great-great grandchildren, Nahla Williams, Isla Carbaugh, and brother, Wayne Taylor of Albany and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Vaughn Taylor, Frank Taylor and James Taylor.
