Memorial services for Gloria Suzanne Williford Strickland, 68, of Camilla will be held at 11:00AM Friday, January 1, 2016. The Rev. Les Pollock will officiate and interment will be in Pelham City Cemetery. Born September 18, 1947 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Walter Lynwood Williford, Sr. and Gloria Nadine Holland McGahee. Mrs. Strickland passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Mitchell County Hospital. She was retired from Pelham Banking Company and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Camilla. She was married for 49 years to Jack Lindon Strickland of Camilla; two daughters, Lyndona Barefoot (Scott) of Bainbridge and Marilark Murray (Roger) of Calhoun, Ga; a brother, Walter Williford (Cheryl) of Coolidge; two sisters, Larkie Martin (Freddie) of Camilla; Marti Mims (Dave) of Woodstock; and five grandchildren, Calvin Barefoot, Nikki Barefoot, Shannon Barefoot, Teagan Barefoot and Jackson Murray. Memorial contributions can be made to the Mitchell County Animal Shelter or Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, Camilla Ga .
