Shirley Trout

Shirley Ann Hooks Trout, 78, of Pelham passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at her residence. Born January 14, 1945 in Sale City she was the daughter of the late James Tappley and Ruby Jarrells Hooks Williams. She was a former Volunteer at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham. Survivors include her sons, Wallace Johnson of Tifton and Justin Reddick of Athens; grandchildren, Karlyn Johnson of Newton and Mason and Matthew Johnson of Leesburg; and a sister, Ruthie Pearl Hooks Batchelor. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, John Melvin Hooks, James P. Hooks and J.E. Hooks and two sisters, Frances Hooks Craven and Dorothy Jean Hooks Cooper Humphries.
