Shelby Davis

Funeral services for Shelby Alligood Davis, 87, of Pelham will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Pallbearers will be Josh Willis, Chris Nix, Damien Lane, Tyler Hood, Kenny Braswell and Blake Rhodes. Born January 5, 1938 in Meigs she was the daughter of the late Roy and Thelma Alligood. Mrs. Davis passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Cairo. She was married to Winston Lamar Davis who preceded her in death in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Marianne Plank (Larry) of Pelham; grandkids, Bridgette Binion of Pelham, Breanna Plank of Cairo, Julianne Plank of Ochlocknee, Jadyn Plank of Pelham, great grandchild, Trinity Sloan and nephew, Kerry Alligood of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and siblings, Roy Alligood, Jr, Wayne Alligood, Dorothy Walcher, Opal Coram and Hazel Alligood. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Friday.
