Samuel D. (Sam) Norman

Funeral services for Samuel D. (Sam) Norman, 74,  of Pelham will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Holton, Roger Rorie, Jr., Michael Rorie, Thomas Rorie, David Rorie, James Collins and Boise Fairbank. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM. Born July 1, 1944 in Mitchell County he was the son of the late Samuel Joel and Katie May Atkins Norman. Mr. Norman passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his residence. He is survived by his sons, Ray Holton of Pelham; Carlton Holton of Sale City and Irvin Holton of Leesburg;  a brother, Floyd Norman of Arcadia, Fl; Catherine Goodier of Pelham; Juanita Rorie of Moultrie and Louise Boyette of Brunswick, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Freida Pollock Norman and a sister, Sweetie Caban.
