Ruby Laverne Horne

Ruby Laverne Stewart Horne, 82, of Pelham will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Lynn Roberts and Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Horne, Wil Snipes, Sammy Kelentic, Dr. Bo Curles, Jimbo Curles and Lee Stewart. Born January 24, 1937 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Vivian Davis Stewart. She was married for 59 years to Irvin Horne who preceded her in death. Mrs. Horne passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her residence. She was a member of Branchville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Billy Horne, Allen Horne (Angela), Kelly Horne (Pam) and Krys Snipes (Ken), grandchildren, Madison Horne, Sarah Evans (Kip), Brandon Horne, Amanda Horne Corcoran, Wil Snipes, Grace Snipes, and Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nathan and Aubrey Corcoran, two brothers, Frank Stewart (Lena) and Marvin Stewart (Martha Jo); special thanks to her caregivers, Estella Edwards and Hattie Crumley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Horne, parents, Lorenzo and Vivian David Stewart, and a sister, Margaret Kelentic.
