Ronald Franks

Funeral services for Ronald James Franks, 92, of Pelham will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 9:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home with full military honors. Services will conclude at the chapel with burial later at Pine Level Cemetery. Rev. Joe Brown of Living Church of God will officiate where Mr. Franks was a member. Pallbearers will be Eugene Poppell, Tommy Blackston, Jeremy Wilson, Bill Gonzales, Wesley Dean, David Donalson, Ashley Kitchens and Rose Tilden. Born January 19, 1931 in Barberton, OH he was the son of the late Llyod and Oretta Keller Franks. Mr. Franks passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was Navy Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, a retired Physicians assistant and Radiologist with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was married to Wileen Morrison Franks for 67 years who preceded him in death on July 12, 2017. He is survived by his adopted son Tommy Blackston and his daughter Anna; and Rose Tilden, adopted daughter, Nieces and Nephews, Tom Kitchens (Agnes), Terri Metzler (Mike); Tony Kitchens; Sheryl Knox (Fred); Pete Kitchens; Loretta Huth (Mike); Mark Kitchens; Tammy Martinez (Jeff); Numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a sister, Donna Kitchens. The family will receive friend at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM.
