Funeral services for Roger Dale Royal, 71, of Albany will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home.  Rev. Chris Hall and Ross Powell will officiate and interment will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Phillip Pollock, Mike Bentley, Johnny Russ, Casey Russ, Phillip Madrid and Robert Bentley.  Born September 17, 1951 he was the son of the late Herman W. and Hattie Hartley Royal. He was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and retired from Proctor and Gamble. Mr. Royal passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was married for 49 years to Kay Bentley Royal of Albany who survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Michelle DeLoach (Robbie) of Valdosta; a son, Jason Royal (Karla) of Leesburg; five grandchildren, Kenslie DeLoach, Laurel DeLoach, Abbea DeLoach, Michael DeLoach all of Valdosta and Willa Royal of Leesburg and two step grandchildren, Phillip Madrid and Kate Madrid of Leesburg; and two sister-in-laws, Shelby Bentley of Spanish Fort, AL and Janice Russ (Franklin) of Pelham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 7:00-9:00PM. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
