Rodney Lamar Harrell, Sr.

Funeral services for Rodney Lamar Harrell, Sr., 78, of Pelham will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 at 11:00AM at Pine Level Baptist Church. Rev. David Pickering and Rev. Les Pollock will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class. Born October 6, 1944 in Pelham he was the son of the late Otis Green and Maggie Mae Edwards Harrell. Mr. Harrell passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at his residence. He was a farmer and mechanic and member of Hinsonton Baptist Church. He was married to Sybil Iris Humphries Harrell for 58 years of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include sons, Lamar Harrell (Michelle) and Darren Harrell (Roseanne) and grandchildren, Zane Harrell (Sydney), Madison Catrett, Sydney Catrett (Shane), Watson Harrell and Braylee Harrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Brayden Kenseth Harrell and sisters, Glenda H. Willis and Marlene H. Jones. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to Pine Level Cemetery Fund, 298 Pine Level Road Cairo, Ga 39827 or to Cure for Childhood Cancer 200 Ashford Center N.
