Graveside services for Robert Eugene Chambless, 85, of Camilla will be held  Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00AM at Mt Zion Church Cemetery. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Born August 17, 1936 in Pelham he was the son of the late Eugene Franklin and Harriette Etta Lee Chambless. Mr. Chambless passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Camilla. He was a veteran of the US Army, Timber Broker and member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He was married to Geraldine Logue Chambless who preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Craig Chambless (Lisa) of Pelham, Granddaughters Allison Chambless Rowland (Paul) of Alpharetta and Anna Chambless Gray (Blake) of Camilla; great grandchildren, Emerson Rowland and Lawson Gray; Brother, Henry Chambless (Sue); Sister, Jeanette Ruffin; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Chambless. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Chambless, a brother, David Chambless and brother-in-law, Donald Ruffin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM.
