Robert "Bobby" Barfield

Robert Allen "Bobby" Barfield, 72, of Pelham, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Mitchell County Hospital. Born on January 1, 1941 in Grady County, Georgia to the late Allen Jackson and Hattie Lou Spence Barfield, he was a chef and Baptist by faith. He is survived by his siblings Roger Barfield and wife, Jayne, Christine Ruffin, Frances Odom and husband, Steve, all of Pelham, Georgia, Shirley Bishop and husband, A. L., of O'Steen, Florida, stepdaughters Denise Robinson of Madison, Florida, Barbara Hicks of Ft. Worth, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth A. Hall Barfield, parents Allen Jackson and Hattie Lou Spence Barfield, brothers Tony Barfield, Albert Barfield, and sisters Iris Marie Gibson and Myrtle Law. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service which will be conducted on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Thomasville, Georgia with Rev. Billy Majors officiating.
