Funeral services for Richard M. (Rick) Strickland, 65, of Pelham will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Rev. Olen Cain and Rev. Stacy West will officiate and interment will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Heath Hayes, Keith Stanaland, Larry Itson, Logan Itson, Kevin Brown and John Tadlock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Lewis, Glenn Davis, Spencer Powell, Mike Thomas (Smoke), Harold Brown and Ricky Hayes. Born June 11, 1958 in Pelham he was the son of the late Dr. Earl Rodney and Eloise Gray Strickland. Mr. Strickland passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was owner and operator of Rick's Hardware and Builders Supply in Pelham and member of Hinsonton Baptist Church. He was married to Kathy Autry Strickland of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include his son, Hunter M. Strickland (Brittany), and daughter, Jenna Strickland Singleton (Kyle) of Pelham; two grandchildren, Silas and Sutton Singleton and a sister, Earlean Strickland Shiver (Speedy) of Baconton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe Strickland. Memorial contributions may be made to The Connection Church 565 Harmony Road SE Pelham, GA 31779.
