Richard Cox

Richard Cox, 84, of Pelham passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence. A private family service will be held.  Rev. Stacy West will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brandon Cox, Kasey Cox, Matt Moree, James Moree, Wes Daniel and Steve Cox.  Born September 15, 1936, in Camilla, GA, he was the son of the late Carlton and Maude Godwin Cox.  He was a retired millwright worker with Delco Remy.  He is survived by his son, Durrel Cox of Meigs; daughter Sharon Moree (Alan) of Albany; brother Douglas Cox of Cairo; grandchildren Marc Cox, Brett Roberts (Darren), Kasey Cox (Jasmine), Brandon Cox (Elise), Natalie Daniel (Wes), Matt Moree (Morgan), James Moree (Reilly), Jonathan Cox Culpepper, and Christal Bintliff; numerous great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Jacqueline Jeannette Cox; two sons Richard Brent Cox and Jackie Kent Cox; and two daughter-in-love, Lynda Cox and Susan Cox.
