Rev. Roger Bondy Brinkley

Funeral services for Rev. Roger Bondy Brinkley, 74, of Cairo will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 at 2:00PM at Macedonia Baptist Church. The Rev. Rod Brinkley will officiate and interment will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ken Snipes, Ricky Snipes, Don Harrison, Harold Sellers, Ben Cowart, Chuck Whittaker, Ken Harper and James McCorkle. Honorary pallbearers will be the Class of 1963. Born January 5, 1945 he was the son of the late Bennie Lawson and Vera Toy Parrish Brinkley. Mr. Brinkley passed away at his home on Friday, February 22, 2019. He was a minister for 34 years. He was a member of Vineyard Ministries. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Glenda Sue Snipes Brinkley of Cairo; two sons, Rod Brinkley (Kelly) of Cairo; Chad Brinkley (Jennifer) of Thomasville; grandchildren, Austin, Aubrey, Lawson and Ana; two brothers, Larry Brinkley (Joanne) of Cairo and Joey Brinkley (Kathy) of Pelham and numerous nieces and nephews.
