Phillip Hampton

Phillip Hampton, 75, of Dublin passed away Saturday, January 22,2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26,2022 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Carmon Prince, Shane Brinson, Michael Hampton, Hunter Hampton, Lance Hampton and Keith Gilliard. Born July 6,1946 in Pelham he was the son of the late Ellis E. and Hortense Haire Hampton. He was married for 57 and a half years to Carolyn Gilliard Hampton of Dublin who survives. He was a retired International Production Manager with Levi Jean Company. Other survivors include his three sons, Derrick Hampton (Roxanne) of Dublin; Travis Hampton (Sage) of Atlanta and Heath Hampton (Val) of Loganville; grandchildren, Jordan Michelsen ( Shaun) of Dublin; Rebecca Hampton of Atlanta; Michael Hampton of Peachtree City; Hunter Hampton of Athens; Ryley Hampton of Loganville; and great grandchildren, Wylder and River Michelsen, Brothers, W.R. Hampton (Frances) of Tallahassee, Herman Hampton (Peggy) of Hopeful and two sister, Sharon Blocker (Mike) of Eustus, Fl and Nancy Gilliard (Wayne) of Pelham. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don Hampton, Lawrence Hampton, Eddie Hampton and sisters Maureen Logue and Ramona King. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
