Peggy Smith

Funeral services for Peggy Willis Smith, 81, of Meigs will be held Tuesday, October 22., 2019 at 3:00PM at Meigs Midway Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will will be Lee Willis. Milton Willis, Chad Johnson, Cody Carnline, Paul James and Tony Benton. Born May 6, 1938 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Gus and Ruby Lee Skeen Willis. Mrs. Smith passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Camelia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Smith.  She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Carnline (Gary) of Ochlocknee; Angela Taylor (Steve) of Senoia; grandchildren, Cody Carnline (Jamey); Heath Carnline; Brannon Taylor and Bailee Taylor and one great grandchild, Blake Carnline and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Eulamus Willis, Ben L. Willis, Firman Willis, Wenifred Willis, Bobby Willis; sisters, Violine Eidson, Louise Rayburn and Dale Johnson.
