Funeral services for Pauline Holland Dempsey, 88, of Pelham will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Green will officiate and interment will be in Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Nichols, Steven Nichols, Darrell NIchols, T.J. Meridith, Tray Holton and Jacob Holton. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Stewart. Born November 5, 1928 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late William and Jenny May Holland. Mrs. Dempsey passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and was married to Jack Julian Dempsey who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Patricia Nichols of Hahira, Danny Dempsey of Pelham, Juanita Holton of Pelham, Bobby Dempsey (Gayle) of Panama City, Fl; Alice Lovett (Dale), of Palmetto, Fl, Jeanette Jenkins (Doug) of Ocala, FL and Larry (Man) Dempsey (Kathleen) of Panama City, Fl; one sister, Phyllis Goforth of Ellenton, Fl; 20 Grandchildren, 56 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren and various nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, John Richard Dempsey, a daughter, Kathryn Joyce Dempsey and 1 brother, 3 sister s and 1 son-in-law.
