Paul Wisham

Funeral services for Paul Wisham, 87, of Camilla will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Craig Foister and Rev. Jakie Williams will officiate and interment will be in Father's Home Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gunner Wisham, Andy Foister, Brian Brock, Jamie Singleton, Daniel Williams and Luke Foister. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marvin Hooks, Bruce Henley, Johnny Edwards and Grant Wisham. Born September 14, 1935 in Mitchell County he was the son of the late John Edgar and Effie Crosby Wisham. Mr. Wisham passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at his residence. He was a retired drywall installer and farmer. He was married for 63 years to Doris Adams Wisham of Camilla who survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Diane Foister (Greg), sons, Kent Wisham (Teresa), Frankie Wisham (Machone), Ronald Wisham (Brenda), grandchildren, Craig Foister, Frank Wisham, Shane Wisham, Andrew Foister, Kelly Foister Sellers, Gunner Wisham, and Grant Wisham, sisters, Louise Bailey, Pauline Harrell and Christine Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, John Edgar Wisham, Jr. Willie Mae Hendley, Bernice Hooks Blewett and Woodrow Wisham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM.
