Paul Littleton Stanaland

Funeral services for Paul Littleton Stanaland, 86, of Pelham will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Mack Luke, Rev. Greg Fenn, Rev. David Pickering and Jason Wilks will officiate and interment will be in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randall Stanaland, Mike Stanaland, Wayne Stanaland, Bill Pelter, Stephen Stanaland, Michael Stanaland, Kevin Johnson and Kris Morrill. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Luke, Daniel Luke, Mike Tonkin, Cole Tonkin, Jim Davis, Lou McCollough, Hershel Ansley, Randall Hatcher, Mike Harris, Bob Daniel, Ed Smith and Billy Stevens. Born March 27, 1932 in Thomas County he was the son of the late John Littleton and Missouri Adams Stanaland (Zudie). Mr. Stanaland passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his residence. He was retired from Stanaland and Sons Agricultural Construction and a member of New Growth Baptist Church in Thomasville. He was married for 65 years to Annie Carolyn Atkinson Stanaland who survives. Other survivors include three sons, Randall Stanaland (Joyce) of Pelham; Mike Stanaland (Mary Ann) of Tifton; Wayne Stanaland (Rita) of Birmingham, AL; a daughter, Sherry Pelter (Bill) of Tifton; grandchildren, Shae Foy of Albany, Leslie Wilks (Jason) of Wake Forest, NC; Stephen Stanaland of Melbourne, Fl; Rachel Stanaland (Daniel Lousnberry) of Montgomery, AL; Michael Stanaland (Mikayla) of Birmingham, AL; Shannon Jones (Garrison) of Tifton;  Shad Hampton of Bay Minnette, AL; William Pelter III (Kristie) Baltimore, MD; 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great -Great Grandson; sister, Carolyn Dekle (Waymon) of Thomasville; special nieces and nephews, family pet, LeeAnne. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clarence Stanaland, Uncle, Horace Adams and Aunt, Ollie Adams. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or New Growth Baptist Church.
