Paul Gilbert

Memorial services for Paul Gilbert, 57, of Cumming will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church 817 Peachtree Parkway in Cumming. Born November 7,1967 in Cumming he was the son of Larry Gilbert (Pam) of Cumming and Roseanna Finley of Baxley all who survive. Mr. Gilbert passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Longleaf Hospice at Emory University Hospital. He was a self-employed cabinet maker. Survivors other than parents include his daughter, Chelsea Gilbert of Stockbridge and two grandchildren, Elijah VanDivner and Sabrina Griffin, siblings, Cristy Edwards (Daniel) of Baxley, Reanna Willis (Robby) of Pelham, Matthew Butler (Jessi) of Baxley, Amber Gilbert of Cumming and Amanda Thomas (Chris) of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert William and Mozelle Hubbard Gilbert and Charles Ferrell and Betty Anderson Bagley and step-father Jim Finley. The family will receive friends at the church on March 8, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM. Family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the funeral home to offset service cost on the link below.
