Oreva Daughtry Butler

Funeral services for Oreva Daughtry Butler , 88, of Pelham will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:00AM at  First Baptist Church in Pelham. The Rev. Wesley Kaylor will officiate and interment will be in Pelham City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Daughtry, Andrew Humphries, Dewain Humphries, Roman Humphries, Mike Snipes and Scott Kavanaugh. Born June 5, 1928 in Mitchell County she was the daughter of the late Fred Daughtry and Hazel Poitivent Daughtry. Mrs. Butler passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She was married to Cecil Humphries and later to Samuel Quintin Butler both preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Gary Humphries (Jana) of Pelham; Derrell Humphries of Leesburg; grandchildren, Tamara Snipes (Mike); Roman Humphries (Cass); Andrew Humphries (Debbie); Great-Grandchildren, Landon and Lindsey Snipes, Aaliyah, Austin and Harper Humphries; and her brothers and sisters, Ronald Daughtry, Carolyn Barrington, Linda Stewart, Irma Gassett, Raiford Daughtry, Raymond Daughtry, Hollis Daughtry. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a grandson, Jason Humphries and two brothers, Tommy Gene Daughtry and C.W. Daughtry and a daughter-in-law, Gail Humphries.
