Myrtle L. Carter

Funeral services for Myrtle Lucille Carter, 92, of Ochlocknee will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10:00AM at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Neely will officiate and interment will be in Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Carter passed away October 28, 2014 at Glen-Mor Nursing Home in Thomasville. Born August 22, 1922 she was the daughter of the late David Hansell Parker and Beulah Idella Hurst. Mrs. Carter worked for the Daniel Shaker Company in Thomasville as an assembly person. She was married to George Dallas Carter who preceded her in death. Pallbearers will be William David Parker, Woodrow Leonard Parker, Charles Carter, Chris Crews, Alec Crews and Charles Winchester. Survivors include nieces and nephews, William David & Darlene Parker, Woodrow Leonard & Pamela Parker, Dellas Alvin Carter, Jr. and Denise Ann & Chris Crews and two great nieces Lori Parker and Victoria Trussell.
She was preceded in death by her father David Hansell Parker, mother Beulah Idella Hurst, three sisters and eight brothers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM Friday October 31, 2014.
