Graveside funeral services for Myra Gail Edwards, 79, of Sylvester will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00PM along with her daughter Patricia Camp who passed away Monday, June 5, 2017. The Rev. Gary Hadden will officiate. Myra was born July 29, 1937 in Camilla, Ga to the late James Walter and Inez Darley Thornton. Ms. Edwards passed away in Sylvester Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare. She was married to Jimmy A. Edwards who preceded her in death. She was a member of Acree Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Stephen Edwards (Madelyn) of Marietta; a brother, Steven Thornton of Marietta; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Cromer (Caleb), Gerald Camp, Cassandra Edwards and Andre Edwards and two Great Grandchildren, Aram and Ava Cromer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Patricia Camp. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, 2017 30 minutes prior to the service at Travelers Rest Cemetery.
