Minnie Len Norton Gassett

Funeral services for Minnie Len Norton Gassett, 67, of Meigs, will be held Monday, December 27,2021 at 11:00 AM at Meigs Baptist Church. Rev. Stacy West will officiate with interment to follow at Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Hansburger, Terry Gassett, Robert Rackley, Rob Rackley, Kenneth Gassett and Whit Sealy. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Neal Gassett, Terry Michael Gassett, Ronald Daughtry, and Tater West. Born November 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late William Billy Norton and Marceline Barrett Norton. Mrs. Gassett passed away December 23,2021 at her residence. She was a member of Meigs Baptist Church and worked as a data clerk for Flower's Baking Company. She is survived by her husband, Alton Levon Gassett, sisters Nancy Sutherland of Gainesville, GA, Elsie Perez (Gonzalo) of Cleveland, GA, Joyce Parsons ((John) of Jacksonville, FL, aunts Pat Warren (Mike) and Ann Hayes, both of Pelham, GA, nieces Marcy Kramer of Gainesville, GA, and Alicia Parsons of Jacksonville, GA, and nephew William King of Jacksonville, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will greet friends on Sunday, December 26,2021 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home and Monday, December 27,2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Meigs Baptist Church prior to the service.
