Michael Lynwood Thompson

Funeral services for Michael Lynwood Thompson, 58, of Ochlocknee will be Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 2:00PM at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The Rev. David Pickering and Rev. Neal Hager will officiate.  The family will receive friends at cemetery Wednesday from 1:00PM until service time. Mr. Thompson passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.  Born September 15, 1962 in Mitchell County, he was the son of Ray Thompson of Ochlocknee and Janie Wright Thompson of Meigs. Mr. Thompson was a self employed Farmer and a Mechanic. He is survived by his parents; a son Michael Thompson (Laura) of Lake City, SC; a daughter Lacy (Jason) Bradford or Morven, GA;  one grandson, Rhett Thompson, two granddaughters Anna Caitlin Scurry and Charlotte Scurry all of Lake City, SC; two sisters, Angie Boatright (Buster) of Pelham, GA; Farrah Williams (James) of Camilla, GA; three nieces, Whitney Harris (Kyle), Emily Williams, and Laney Williams; one nephew Logan Boatright (Caitlin) and one great nephew, Koan Harris.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents James Cecil and Dessie Doyle Thompson and Mance and Lula Mae Wright.  Pallbearers will be Tyler Barineau, Wayne Owens, Rusty Davis, Gene Willis, Doug Keller, Doyle Beckwith, Dennis Thompson, Earl Lashley and George Banks.
