Michael Keaton Godwin

Michael Keaton Godwin, 67, of Pelham passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wyatt Godwin, Peyton Payne, CJ Payne, CJ Payne, Jr. and Hunter Presley. Born June 17, 1952 in Camilla he was the son of the late Steve J. and Helen Humphries Godwin. He was married to Joyce Marie Alcott Godwin for 18 years who survives. Other survivors include his children, Denver Cook ( Brian); David Godwin (Azure); Cleveland Payne (April) and Melissa Kent (Dean); Grandchildren, Braden Cook; Dillon Cook; Wyatt Godwin; Zachary Payne (Kinsley); Peyton Payne(Lauren) and Cleveland Payne, Jr. (Tiffany); and great grandchildren, Eden Payne and Paisley Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Stephanie Jana Godwin Leggett.  The family will receive friends at The Barn on Hwy 19 after the graveside. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4:00-6:00PM. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
