Maude Della (Tiny) Godwin

Funeral services for Maude Della Mobley (Tiny) Godwin, 84, of Pelham  will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Young will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Simon Batchelor, Paul Palmer, Ted Simpson, Belford Poppell, Richard Willis and Jason Batchelor. Born September 15, 1935 in Mitchell County she was the daughter of the late Jim Henry and Annie Lawhorne Moblley. Mrs. Godwin passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her daughters home. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Evans of Pelham;  grandchildren, Maria Batchelor (Simon); Lacolla Harper (Eric); Michele Palmer(Paul); Skeeter Weeks, Scooter Weeks (Brandy); seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pete Godwin, daughter, Libby Weeks, sisters, Montine, Charlene, Ollie, Viola, and Pansy, brothers, Paul, Jessie, and Dick. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 6:00-8:00PM.
