Marye Pat Presley

Marye Pat Presley, 73, of Cairo passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.  Funeral service will be Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home with interment to follow a Tama Travel Town.  Pastor Ricky Pearson will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Seth Brady, Steven Williams, Zach Murphy, Jaiden Neese, Dallas Chase, and Keith Williams.  Marc Shaddix will serve as honorary pallbearer.  Born October 23, 1950 in Moultrie, GA, she was the daughter of L. B. and Marye Jo Jones Shaddix.  Mrs.Presley was a member of Our Father's House, a prior bus monitor for Colquitt County School, served as an escort for mobile homes, a seamstress and a caretaker thru Golden Apple.  She is survived by her husband, Ramsey Glenn Presley, her son Chip Williams (Cathy), grandchildren Jennifer Chase (Dallas), Zach Murphy (Loghan), Steven Williams (Brooke), Jonathon Williams (Rebecca), and Aubrie Williams (Jaiden), and eight great-grandchildren; one brother Steve Shaddix, one sister-in-law Rhonda Presley Sadler, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will visit with friends from 1:30 - 2:30 PM, prior to the service.
