Mary Elizabeth Collins

Mary Elizabeth Butler Collins, 84, of Seale, AL, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at her home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 3:00PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home, Rev. Ernie Beckwith will officiate. Interment will follow at Pelham City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Wesley Tryon, Travis Collins, William Bowden Kayven Collins, Kevin Collins and Daniel Collins. Born June 11, 1939 in Pelham, GA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie Bynum Butler.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Collins was married to the late Oscar Collins.  She is survived by her sons, Dewayne Collins of Seale, AL, Danny Collins (Lisa) and Derwood Collins, both of Columbus, GA, and Dallas Collins (Brenda) also of Seale, AL, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sisters Minnie Edwards and Bonnie Warren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters, Gladys Butler, Margaret Butler, Vivian Butler and Martha Butler.  The family will meet with friends from 1:00-3:00PM on June 2, 2024, at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  The services will be live-streamed on Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home facebook page.
