Funeral services for Mary Clark Brinkley, 84, of Valdosta, formerly of Pelham, will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home with interment in Macedonia Church Cemetery. Rev. Stacy West and Rev. Olen Cain will officiate. Mrs. Brinkley passed away at her daughter¹s home on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Born February 21, 1933 in Grady County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Lewis Clark and Melissa Marie Adams. She was married to the late Lloyd D. Brinkley and was a caregiver and seamstress. She is survived by a daughter Bonnie Cooper (Wayne) of Valdosta; sons Ricky Brinkley (Tammy) of Elijay and Ronnie Brinkley (Lola) of Cotton; grandchildren Dale, Michelle, Michael, Allyson, Katie, Ashley, Christy and Byron; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother David Clark of Pelham; a sister June Benefield of Branchville. She was preceded in death by her parents J. L. and Marie Clark; her husband Lloyd Brinkley; brothers ³Buck² Clark, J. C.
