Mary Bailey

Funeral services for Mary Bailey, 78, of Pelham will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home.  Rev. Doug Hall will officiate with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Vada.  Pallbearers will be Brett Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Sam Bailey, Jared Taylor, Bubba McCook, and Evan Herring.  Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Bailey, Brad Bailey, and Mason Bailey.  Born January 16, 1943, in Pelham, GA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Creech and Willodean Holly.  Ms. Bailey passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was married to the late Clarence William Bailey.  She worked for many years at First Baptist Church Daycare.  She is survived by her children, Clarence W. Bailey, Jr., David Bailey, Tammy McCook, James Bailey, Susan Herring, Michelle Taylor, and Richard Bailey; numerous grandchildren and siblings.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM, prior to the service.   Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham.
