Lucille Young McDonald

Lucille Pearson Young McDonald, 90, of Pelham, GA passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her residence. Born on April 24, 1923 in Hedland, AL to the late Tom and Rhoda Tally Pearson, she was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She is survived by her children Bonnie Godwin of Pelham, GA, Pearl Hurst of Meigs, GA, Wanda Sue Sellers of Pelham, GA, grandchildren Trey Godwin, Chad Godwin, Kevin Sellers, Steve Sellers, Marty Stewart, James Neil Hurst, Lisa Gail Peel, 13 great grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren, two nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett McDonald, daughter Minnie Lee Stewart, brother Carson Lee Pearson and her parents. Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 9 until 10 a.m. at Jamerson Funeral Home. Funeral services began at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 with Rev. Nathan Fowler leading the services. Pallbearers were Trey Godwin, Chad Godwin, Kevin Sellers, Steve Sellers, Marty Stewart, James Neil Hurst and Lisa Gail Peel. Interment was held at Branchville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
