Services for Laura Lynn Collins, 72, of Pelham will be held Thursday, Feburary 10, 2022 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church Pelham where she was a member. Rev. Ricky Griner, Rev. Doug Hall and Rev. Leroy Williams will officiate . Born January 5, 1950 in Pelham she the daughter of the William Tom and Sara Virginia Bolton Howell. Mrs Collins passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Pelham Civitan Club, and retired from Mitchell County Board of Education. She is survived by her son, Lee Collins (Rebekah); grandchildren, Brody Collins (Halen), Maston Collins, Malee Collins, Creek Collins, Blake Mercer, Lynlee Mercer, special family Charlie Collins (Kadee) and Kids JC Collins and Cullen Collins; a sister, Chandra Cowen (Ferg) and numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Dotti St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Becky Bullard (Budda). The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service on Thursday.
