Graveside funeral services for Larry West, 79, of Meigs will be held Wednesday July 8, 2020 at 11;00AM at Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Stacy West will officiate. Born January 25, 1941 in Colquitt County he was the son of the late John Ben and Nadine Aycock West. Mr. West passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Pruitt Health in Valdosta. He was a self employed truck driver and lawn care professional, member of First Baptist Church in Pelham and Hardess Coffee Club in Pelham. He is survived by his son, Michael West (Cyndi) of Adel; sisters, Evelyn Presley (Charles) of Meigs; Jane Scites of Moultrie; and a brother, Roger West (Vivian) of Meigs; and a granddaughter, Hannah West of Adel. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Douglas West. The family will receive friends at the cemetery on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00AM.
