Larry K. Taylor

Funeral services for Larry Kennedy Taylor, 73, of Pelham will be held Thursday 22, 2016 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Dion Brown will officiate and interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Kennedy Taylor, Stacy Allen Taylor, Jr., Jammie Lee Beard, David Paul Beard, Vernon Alan Taylor, and Chad Taylor.  Mr. Taylor passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at his residence.  He was a member of New Bethel Church in Meigs and a Mechanic. Born February 23, 1943 in Camilla he was the son of the late Oma Vernon Taylor and Stella Evangeline Kennedy Taylor. He was married for 50 years to Barbara Bynum Taylor who survives. Other survivors include his son, Stacy Allen Taylor of Moultrie, Richard Kennedy Taylor of Pelham, and William Marty Taylor of Pelham; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren; two brothers, Oma V. Taylor and David K. Taylor and a sister, Voncile Taylor Franklin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Sarah Taylor Akridge, Imogene Taylor Cochran, Mattie Ema West and Mary Lynn Beard and his mother-in-law, Rubia Baggett Bynum Crosby.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
