Larry Scarbrough

Funeral services for Larry Scarbrough, 77, of Pelham will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Dayton Jones will officiate and interment will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronald Hurst, Gene Willis, Earl Cone, Tommy Humphries, Brim Wiggins, Ricky Wiggins. Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Hurst, Zeb Wiggins, and Bill McDowell. Born July 12, 1945 in Camilla he was the son of the late Richard Lamar and Naomi Davis Scarbrough. Mr. Scarbrough passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at his residence. He was retired from Proctor and Gamble and member of the Pelham Hardees Group. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Kay Cameron Scarbrough of Pelham; daughter, Crystal Chipman (D.J.) of Hartwell, GA; grandson, William Scarbrough of Moultrie; grandson, Wyatt Chipman and granddaughter, Sarah Chipman of Hartwell; great granddaughter, Claire Scarbrough of Pelham; great grandsons, Jensen and Jonavan Scarbrough of Moultrie and daughter-in-law, Dawn Scarbrough of Cairo. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Chris Scarbrough and sister, Carolyn Stone. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10:00-11:00AM.
