Lance Morrell

Lannis Harrell Morrell, Jr. (Lance), 53, of Pelham, GA, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication to his family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Teddy Williamson and John Mark Morrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Chad Knight, Jody Harvey, Joey Hester, Chris Howard, Shane Carroll, Dusty Moore, Mike Trawick, Joey Prince, and Keith Carraway. Honorary pallbearers include those who greeted him at Heaven’s door: Lannis Morrell, Sr., Stan Gilliard, Chris Trawick, Johnny Nix, Ken Walden, Charlie Hester, Waylon Moye, Richard Wells, Lannis Harrell Morrell, IV (Kade), and Gene Trawick. Lance worked in the forestry industry with Howard/Wilder, LLC. He was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church and Riders for Christ Cowboy Church. Lance is survived by his loving wife, Vicki; his mother, Helen Eaton Morrell; his children, Lannis (Trey) Harrell Morrell III (Jordan), Mason Morrell, Noah Morrell, Lee (Sherry), Zeb, and Frankie; and his cherished granddaughter, Lilly Morrell. He is also survived by his sister, Leslie Morrell (Jason); his brother, Lane Morrell (Jennifer); his nieces, Brooke Reynolds (Jim), Kelsi DeLange (Kory); nephew, Layton Morrell, and a host of great nieces and a great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Lannis Harrell Morrell, Sr.; his grandparents, Cecil and Mattie Collins Eaton and Hewart and Margie Harrell Morrell; and his beloved grandson, Lannis Harrell Morrell, IV (Kade). The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 23, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Lance will be remembered for his deep love for his family, love of music, and his steadfast faith.
