Kathleen Dixon Osborn

Funeral services for Kathleen Dixon Osborn, 79, of Cairo, will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Meigs Assembly Church. Rev. Gerald Willis will officiate with interment to follow at Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jordan Phillips, Logan McMurphy, Malone Powell, Brandon Osborn, Matthew Osborn and Brian Thomas. Honorary pallbearer will be Coby Brown.

Born December 15,1942 in Pelham, GA, Mrs. Osborn was the daughter of the late Joe Freeman Dixon and Bonnie Kate Butler. Mrs. Osborn passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at her residence.

She was a member of the Meigs Assembly Church and worked as a cashier for Harvey's.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Ray Osborn of Cairo; two sons Rex Osborn (Sherry) and Eddie Osborn (Steve Tatch) all of Cairo; two daughters Rachel Young (George) of Pelham and Susan Ausburn (Dewayne) of Cairo; grandchildren Nicholas Osborn, Brandon Osborn, Matthew Osborn, Courtney Schofield, Brandy Godwin, Jordan Phillips, Katelyn Harrell, Logan McMurphy, Malone Powell, and Alissa Brown; great grandchildren Jada Brown, Coby Brown, Zach Brown, Madalynn Powell, Abel Howell, Adalyne Osborn, Ashtyne Osborn, Ridge Bailey, Wyatt Osborn, Anthony Osborn, Virgil Barwick, Paisley Barwick, Sabrinah Chalke and Ridge Griffin; sisters Jahaza Anderson and Dorothy Byrd both of Meigs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Ray Anthony Osborn; brothers Lavon Dixon, Charles Dixon and Jimmy Dixon; one sister Elouise Dixon.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.
